 This Special Call, followed and continued our Ham activity, about HELLENESTIC YEARS (4th to 1st century B.C.). The point of reference for that period of time,is Alexander the GReat, who was born (356BC) in Pella North GReece.

That time, to honour ARISTOTLES ,a group of Hams with a portable station, participated in Field Day 2008, in STAGERA  North GReece, from 13:00UTC 6/9 to 12:59UTC 7/9/2008 in "ARISTOTLES PARK".

 

The station:

TX/RX: Icom IC-7000, Yaesu FT-897 (*3)

Antennas: Butternut HF5B (10/12/15/17/20m), OCF homemade dipole (40/80/160m), Vertical homemade 10m fishing rod.

Power: Car batteries, fuel generator, Alinco 32A.
